Zovirax Suspension is used to treat viral infections. It plays a vital role in treating cold sores (an inflamed blister in or near the mouth, caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus), genital herpes (a common sexually transmitted infection marked by genital pain and sores), and herpes zoster (a viral infection that causes a painful rash). In addition to this, it is also used to treat chickenpox. Zovirax Suspension does not cure herpes but does not allow the infection to spread and treat its symptoms.

I took this medication and I was very pleased with how much I took and felt much better, especially after 3 days of taking Zovirax for two days. I could not stop taking it and I have had severe side effects like seizures. I am very proud of what I have achieved and I will continue to follow my doctor's advice.

I have had herpes for over 12 years and I have been to treatment at a dermatology and health care practitioner. My doctor said that this medication can help but it doesn't do much for me.
